Great recognition, my friend, children's book author, Maria. It was great seeing you Momma Gill, Christina and your niece in Fort Worth, TX today. Love your books. Great read for our youth and adults. You must purchase all three books! It will enhance your library and coffee table discussion.

Last night was a major success! Thank you for inviting LRPD to attend. The kids were so well behaved and listened very well during reading time. Please share this with the Whetstone Boys & Girls Club staff.

Thank you,

Another beautiful picture book celebrating families and Arkansas from Hoskins! The text paired with soft, fluid illustrations perfectly capture a day of exploring in Little Rock, Arkansas and the surrounding area. Readers can almost feel the hot and humid summer day that perfectly captures Arkansas. While introducing young readers to the concept of family reunions this book would also be perfect to share before a family vacation to the capital city of Arkansas. The included activities at the end of the book are a great starting point for young children to begin learning more about their family history and great ideas for sharing family history while at a reunion. This picture book packs a lot of excellent ideas for expanding and encouraging learning about families.

I read it Sunday night when I got settled in. It was like telling my thanksgiving dinners stories when I was a child at he with my grandparents. Those was some of the best days. So I try to keep it going on now although we don't have a farm.
